Employment Office Assistant - Part-time, temporary position available. Psychologists - Newsom Psychological needs licensed Psychologists for psychological evaluations in Galveston County and Harris County. Part or full time. For the interested psychologist, counseling, psychotherapy and home studies are also available. Licensed Professional Counselors - Newsom Psychological needs LPCs to provide family evaluations, counseling and psychotherapy in Galveston and Harris counties. Home studies are also available for interested counselors. Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists - Newsom Psychological needs LMFTs to provide family evaluations, counseling and psychotherapy in Galveston and Harris counties. Home studies are also available for interested therapists. Licensed Clinical Social Workers - Newsom Psychological needs LMFWs and LCSWs to provide home studies and kinship evaluations in Harris County and all surrounding counties. Interested LCSWs may also provide counseling and psychotherapy. Clinicians particularly interested in providing group therapy and/or home-based therapy are encouraged to apply. Medicaid To work as a clinician of any type under an evaluation and treatment contract, you will need to be a Medicaid provider. Additionally, you will need to be approved as a provider on any Medicaid managed care companies servicing the county where you practice. Here are links to each company I have identified.
